Lili

Fintech · FDIC via partner bank

Built for freelancers and small businesses. Foreign passport + EIN, no SSN.

ApplyRight field notes

One of the few whitelist banks that explicitly supports China (it's on the 14-country list). Features are basic, it pushes paid tiers, and the application form is long and clunky to fill out. Fine for individuals or small teams who just need a simple US account on a budget.

  • The owner's passport (number + expiry; no SSN required)
  • Business / operating address: US or overseas (the company may physically operate outside the US)
  • Proof of address (utility bill / lease / deed — especially when operating abroad)
